The thermal oil heater is based on electrical energy as the heat source and the thermal oil as the heat carrier. It uses a circulating oil pump to force the liquid phase to circulate, deliver the heat energy to the thermal equipment, and then return for reheating. It is a closed forced circulation process. There is no heat loss in the process, so the heat conversion efficiency is high and better energy-saving effects are achieved.

The quality of the thermal oil will directly affect the normal operation and safety of the heating equipment.

Thermal oil should be selected with good chemical stability and thermal stability, high flash point boiling point and high thermal conductivity.Commonly used thermal oils are: 1.alkane (aliphatic hydrocarbon) compounds; 2. cycloalkane compounds; 3. Aromatic aromatic compounds; 3. Silicone oil and chlorinated paraffin oil products.

It should also be noted that the thermal oil cannot be mixed with flammable and gaseous oils (gasoline, kerosene, etc.) and impurities such as moisture.Inferior and unqualified oils and mixtures will also block pipelines and control components due to the free release of sediments and asphalt after heating, causing unnecessary cleaning and downtime losses to the system.
