Resistance heating element

Sinton Resistance heating element mainly was separately two types, one is air tubular heating elements and the other is liquid heating elements.

And only we make them with same shape,they also can be used in different shape.It is difficult to tell them apart only through shape. And how to distinguish among these heating elements?  

1. Distinguish it from shape

Electric Tubular heating elements for liquid are mostly U-shaped or special-shaped electric heating pipes with fasteners, flange electric heating pipes, etc.

The common dry burning electric heating tubes are single head straight rod electric heating tubes, U-shaped or special-shaped electric heating tubes without fasteners, finned electric heating tubes and a few flange electric heating tubes.

2. Distinguish it from wattage surface load

   ①The power design of liquid electric tubular heating element is determined according to the heating medium. The heating water has 3KW power per meter of the length of the heating area of the electric heating pipe. For heating corrosive liquid and water with hard water quality and easy to scale, the power per meter is about 2kW. The maximum power per meter of heating oil is 2kW, and the power per meter of poor and thick oil is about 1kW.

 

② The dry burning electric heating element is designed to determine the power according to the fluidity of the heated air: The power of dry burning electric heating tube heated in closed space is designed to be 1kW per meter. The electric heating element with fan circulation in the flowing space has a design power of about 1.5KW per meter.

3. Distinguish it from material

  ①Liquid tubular heating element

Oil:

Oil tubular heating element usually was made of SS304 sheath material, but some other oil heating elements also can be made with carton steel when it was used for experiment in order to reduce the cost.

Water:

Oil tubular heating element usually was made of SS304 sheath material too. When it is used for heating drinking water,, we usually use SS316 sheath material. If it is turbid river water or water with more impurities, we usually use SS316 sheath material.

Corrosive liquids:

Stainless steel 316 can be selected for the liquid with low alkaline acidity and weak corrosivity.

carton steel can be selected If the tubular heating elements would be used for 24 hours per day in order to experimentation.

When tubular heating element working temperature range 100 to 300 degree C,SS304 sheath is recommended.

When tubular heating element working temperature range 400 to 500 degree C,SS321 sheath is recommended.

When tubular heating element working temperature range 600 to 700 degree C,SS310s sheath is recommended.

When tubular heating element working temperature range 700 to 800 degree C, incoloy 600 or incoloy 800 sheath is recommended.
