Electric Single heating elements, we also call it cartridge heater rod its structure is generally composed of the following parts: insulator, sealing material, MGO rod, filler, electric resistance heating wire, metal protective sheath and terminal.
The spiral resistance heating wire and mgo rod are located in the center of the metal protective sheath. Its manufacturing process is to thread the spiral resistance heating wire(NiCr wire or FeCrAl wire) into the seamless steel tube, stainless steel tube ,copper tube or aluminum pipe. The gap is evenly filled with mgo powder, such as crystalline magnesium oxide, through a multi pipe filling machine, and then the cartridge heater’s metal tube is reduced by a tube shrinking machine to make the oxide medium dense (the density reaches 3.3g/cm) ³ Above), ensure that the heating resistance wire is isolated from the air, and the center position does not deviate and touch the metal sheath. In this way, the calorific value per unit area can be increased by more than ten times.
