K-type thermocouple
K-type thermocouple is a commonly used temperature sensor, which consists of two different metal materials connected at one end to form a measuring junction, and the other end is connected to a measuring instrument. When the temperature at the measuring junction changes, the electromotive force between the two metals will also change. By measuring this electromotive force, the measured temperature can be determined.
The characteristics of K-type thermocouple include:
Wide temperature measurement range: it can measure the temperature range from -200°C to +1200°C;
High accuracy: the accuracy of thermocouple is usually between 1°C and 2°C;
Fast response speed: the response speed of thermocouple is fast, and it can be used to measure rapidly changing temperatures;
Good stability: the stability of thermocouple is good, and it can still maintain good accuracy after long-term use;
Relatively low price: compared with other temperature sensors, the price of thermocouple is relatively low.
K-type thermocouple is widely used in industrial, scientific, medical and other fields, such as furnace temperature measurement, chemical process control, body temperature measurement, etc.
