Cartridge heaters are cylindrical electrical heating elements.Mostly used for heating up solids such as injection presses heating plates or varous tools,they can also be used for heating up water of gases under certain conditions.Widely used for manufanturing plastic and rubber parts in the car industry or in the food processing industry,etc they are also commonly found in the chemical,electronics,medical equipment,packing and nuclear industries.

Cartridge Heaters Fittings and Screw Terminals

NPT Bushing

Hex head N.P.T. bushing attached. Must specify insert lengthand bushing material. Bushing material types: brass or stain-less steel.10"(25.4 cm) leads standard, other lengths areavailable. Octagonal or explosion-proof boxes can be adapted to both Standard and Hi-Temp Cartridge heaters.

Hex Center Bushing

Hex head N.P.T. bushing attached. Must specify insert lengthand bushing material. Bushing material types: brass orstainless steel. 10" (25.4 cm) leads standard, other lengths areavailable. Octagonal or explosion-proof boxes can be adapted to both Standard and Hi-Temp Cartridge heaters.

Adapter with Hex Head

Must specify insert length. Bushing material is copper.10”(25.4 cm) leads standard, other lengths are available.

External Pins

For applications with high amps requirng universal connection capability. Screw terminals are attached to external pins.

Flush with Cap

For applications with high amps requirng universal connection capability. Screw terminals are attached to external pins. Available for heaters at least 7/8" in diameter.

Either End

Screw terminals available at each end of the heater.

Armor with Plug

Armor cable with power plug attached. Must specify armor length and Hubbell® power plug number. Moisture-resistant armor available. Other Plugs are available. Also available with Hex Head NPT bushing and armor.

Bolt Heater

Bolt heaters are designed to heat drilled metal object quickly while minimizing heat loss to surrounding areas. Each is designed to expand drilled bolts or studs while maintaining a uniform heat throughout its heated length.
